Please use one of the subforums above for computers or calculators!


But first of all, if you're looking for help with a specific coursework assignment (e.g. in computer programming), use one of the Homework & Coursework Questions forums. The one that best matches this area is Engineering, Comp Sci & Technology.

These forums here are for more general discussion-type questions.

If it's about programming, software development, Web development, or computer science topics, use the Programming & Comp Sci subforum. This includes installing and configuring programming tools such as compilers.

If it's about using, configuring, or buying computer or network hardware or software (except math and science oriented software, see below), use the Computers subforum.

If it's about computer software that is primarily used for scientific and mathematical applications (e.g. Matlab, Mathematica, LaTeX, equation editors, scientific graphing packages), use the Math & Science Software subforum.

If it's about calculators, use the Calculators forum.

Only if it's not about computers or calculators but is still about some sort of gadget or technology, use the main Computing & Technology forum.
