Consuming Ox-tails.


If there were a danger of contracting Mad Cow disease could it come from eating ox-tails?

Good God man! The tail is the very worst part! It is where all the prions concentrate. By all means stay away from the tail of an ox, whether it is in a soup or still dangling onto the ox's behind.

Probably not from what I've read. Just avoid ground beef and by all means calf or cow brains.
