Scaling material strength

I was considering making an aircraft wing and decided to first make a 1:10 scale model. I know what the weight needs to be scaled to, but I am not sure how to realistically scale the strength of the materials it is made from. I was considering using aluminium ribs and carbon fibre spars. What materials will I need to use to scale the material strength, and is there an equation that would help?
