Stan Stearns, whose iconic photograph of John F. Kennedy Jr. saluting his fatherís coffin on Nov. 25, 1963, helped encapsulate a nationís grief, died Friday at a hospice near Annapolis, Md. He was 76.

My eyes must be re-calibrated. Everyone in that photo looks *really* thin.

Haven't checked out the first 10 pages of this thread, so I hope this isn't redundant. Someone pointed me to this picture recently:

It is not about spiders, it is about butterflies (or more precisely - caterpillars).

The Pale Blue Dot is a photograph of planet Earth taken in 1990 by the Voyager 1 spacecraft from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) from Earth, as part of the solar system Family Portrait series of images. In the photograph, Earth is shown as a tiny dot (0.12 pixel in size) against the vastness of space. (the blueish-white speck approximately halfway down the brown band to the right)

Just hanging out, doing girly things!

She's definitely going to be a scientist.

(And, if the cat is real, I hope the adult taking the photo rescued it after putting the camera down !)

That picture is sick no matter when that was removed from the cat's head. When do people on the internet think it could ever be ok to do such a thing? Would it be ok to put that over a child's head? NO.

Does GIF counts as picture or as a sequence of pictures?

Feel that torque. Not for nothing they are called Power Wheels.
