My dog does the "Spock" thing with his eyebrows, but he alternates them. Very animated face?

Edit: I should mention that when he is trying to figure out something I'm talking to him about, he switches eyebrows every 1-2 seconds. He knows that he can get extra brownie points that way.

At this point, I should mention that he is quite fluent in English. My wife and I have to spell "out", "walk", "treat", "Max" (his gay doggie-friend's name) and a whole lot of other stuff because he has expectations when he hears them. If he brings me a rope pull-toy and I tell him "no, I want the ball", he will drop the toy and go find a ball. I think mutts are smarter than pure-breds.

I read the end of a fiction/fantasy first to see if it's worth reading. Saves a lot of time and annoyance at the author who writes something that is so silly or out of character. It's also fun to go in at the end of a movie and see if you can figure out the beginning.

Want to come in at the end of the movie and figure it out? Don't try it with "Primer".

"Be the dinkster (or dinker), not the dinkee"

Anyone who has worked under a QA system (ANSI/ASME N45.2, MIL-Q-9858, 10CFR50 App B, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9000/9001, . . .) would appreciate that. It came about when someone realized that they probably violated a requirement of an inadequate QA system, but they were compliant with the process as it was defined. However, the process is flawed.

The system is flawed, so the system is in violation, not the individual.

A finding (discovery of a nonconformance) is a dink, so the person doing the finding is the dinkser (dinker) and the person subject to the finding is the dinkee (the one who gets dinked).

It's a big deal in the military, aerospace and nuclear industries.
