Turbo, I'll get into this more with you later, when I'm not half asleep. For a couple of prejudicial reasons, I don't really like Glocks. (I love them in principle, from an engineering and shooting perspective, but not in practice. It's personal as opposed to logical.)
I respect the 10 mm, but feel that it's a bit too powerful for use in uncontained backgrounds. I want all of the slug's energy to be expended within the target, rather than cruising on through as I suspect that the 10 would do. As for handling the recoil, it can't be much worse than my Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum. My best friend's petite 15-year-old sister always shot that thing one-handed without flinching.
