Having computer problems with my home PC. It keeps shutting down during boot, and can't get into PF chat. :( I've checked my mains voltage with oscilloscope and it is fine. Not sure what the problem is. I'm guessing PC's power supply. Just a guess though. (This message from cell phone).

At least power supply is cheap and easy to replace.

And yes, power supplies are cheap and easy to replace. I'd suggest that you upgrade, though, especially if you have added a HD or optical drive to the computer. The power supply might have been marginal to begin with and any extra gear just taxed it.

This thread has kind of died out now that we've experienced the joy of 1000 pages. We need a new goal. How's 100,000 pages sound?

Since we've already reached 1000 pages and 1001 pages too, I think the next goal should be 1002 pages.

You have discovered nothing. That's exactly what the real John Connor would want you to think. The real John Connor's interests would be something along the lines of "being awesome" or "explosions", but not reading.

Luckily, I still have this on stand-by in case things get out of hand. But for now, we're on our own.
