According to Wikipedia, Troll A Platform is a natural gas platform off the coast of Norway (?). This landmark is definitely on-shore. In case it's not obvious, it does extend well above the frame in my third pic.

Ah, from the size of the sheep and the inside, I estimated that it had to be around 1000 feet high at least. So I searched a list with tallest structures in the UK. There was only one concrete tower on that.
No hints,

If one cropped off the right hand side of the picture, there would be no water. I thought there might be a chance that your image was taken from some obscure location while the Troll was being towed to sea. And the insides of those tubes all look alike to me. I theorized that your image might be inside a leg that contained no oil piping, or perhaps an image prior to the pipes being installed. |

we see the backside of a man in front of the mirror. In the mirror we see the backside of the man.
That painting has been a hint here once for over two years ago. It's now recycled. |

There is also a thread in this forum from last year that shows the same painting.

Just googling "Man in mirror painting" brought up this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_to_be_Reproduced
However I got lead astray slightly by looking at the artist first and trying to see if the ridged thing from the first picture was maybe a sculpture he had made as it looked like could be some sort of surrealist art. Then I found another one of his paintings and clicked on a link that brought me to the museum wiki page and I could see the copper coloured statues around the museum so I decided to look for more pictures of the mesuem and found this one: http://www.boijmans.nl/images/pages/...n_exterior.jpg I couldn't find the silver ball though, it had made me think about boules or petanque being related to the answer but I couldn't find it. I'll post a new picture up later once I get a few photoshopped. |
