After my bout with bumblebee induced anaphylaxis a few years ago, I have this on hand.

I always have plenty on hand and did immediately take some after getting stung. For about 15 minutes I didn't feel well and needed to lie down, but it wasn't too bad and it passed quickly. For about an hour it was sure throbbing though.

Do you keep a topical antihistamine cream on hand? My mother always used a paste of baking soda to ease the pain.

Did you also get an Epi pen an adrenaline shot at hand? Life saver. I saw that in my direct environment.

Got two of them here. I can inject myself, no problem, but the aftermath of such an injection is problematic. Should I clean the house or re-shingle the garage?

Irony!, Irony! :

-- Prisoners in New Hampshire make license plates containing the motto:

"Live free or die "

-- A police truck belonging to the "pedestrian safety unit" runs over two

people in NYC.

IMO, Daniel Day-Lewis is the best actor alive. His portrayal of Butcher Bill in the "Streets of New York" was a masterpiece, and I can't wait to see him as Lincoln.

I can't get out to theaters, so my wife and I have decided to subscribe to Netflix again. The monthly charge is a lot less $$ than theater tickets, plus we can pause a movie anytime and tend to the (freshly-made) popcorn and snacks.

No, but remembering how I had to force myself to keep breathing after the bumblebee stings while in the ER, I'm going to now. Thanks Andre.

You're most welcome, although I'm surprised that it's not standard procedure..

Meanwhile, why did this not happen in my back yard? (courtesy Nilequeen)
