Melting point at high pressure.
The melting point of tungsten, the highest of all metals, is nearly 3700 K at normal sea level pressure.
But the melting point can be increased when the surrounding environmental pressure is increased. Is there any pressure that will make the melting point 8000 K? - Bob |
