I'm going to have to go with Scorpa on this one. Nice composition.

What happened to brewnog's smokestack?

Yikes, I missed one.

Let's see how well I can edit this thread...

I've included brewnog's pic. If someone thinks his/her vote would have changed due to the additional picture, let me know. I can redo this entire thing.

Wow, that would have made it a tougher call, but I don't think I'd have actually changed my vote.

I'm still waiting for a sympathy vote on mine (yeah, yeah, I know I'm not getting any votes...my reward was just the joy of seeing the horror on all your faces when I posted that  ).

I voted for you Moonbear.

Integral receives my vote for the sheer emotional and political impact.

I voted for chroot's photo because there is a double meaning in his theme (at least I see one, anyway). This is from the AIDS/LifeCycle ride, right? You could think about the tents that are no longer there because the event is over and the riders have gone home, but you could also think about all the people who are gone because they lost the battle with AIDS.

I had to go with Turbo on this one, I am in love with that bike haha. Although once again all the pics were awesome!

It was tough, but Scorpa for me. Not only do I love that car and it's a high quality picture, but it also looks a lot like my turf.
Where exactly are you?

Pic was taken at our farm in Alberta, although I am in Edmonton right now for school.

Brewnog - nice lines and shadows. And the b&w really emphasises the
lifeless industrial theme.

I think hypnagogue's was awesome. I like the contrast between the bright orange squares and the black and green natural scene. Really drew my eye. It has a feeling of movement too, between background and foreground. Kind of reminds me of a train...yeah getting too interpretive, stopping now:biggrin:

Wow! I got three more votes than I expected. One of them must be from someone who clicked the wrong button and is ashamed to admit it. I'll never underestimate the sympathy vote again!

There is something very homey and personal feeling about your picture, Moonbear. There's some very neat photography here. What's this all about, anyhow? Obviously I missed the memo.

Edited to add: oh, okay, I just saw the Take Me Home Country Road thread. I get it now.
