I need to construct a timeline for the quest for the theory of everything from the 20th-21st century.

I need help. I'm having trouble with the 21st century part since there aren't much books on this. Can anybody please inform me of all the TOE in the 21st century and what their up to? For example, what are those String Theoriests doing right now?

And how would we know when we have achieved a TOE? What experiment would definitely prove it?

What are Theories of Everything in the 21st century?

Theories of Everything in the 21st century are attempts by scientists to create a unified understanding of the fundamental laws and principles that govern the universe. This includes theories in physics, cosmology, and other fields.

Why are Theories of Everything important?

Theories of Everything are important because they aim to provide a comprehensive and consistent framework for understanding the universe. They can help us answer fundamental questions about the nature of reality and how the universe works.

What are some current theories of everything?

Some current theories of everything include string theory, loop quantum gravity, and grand unified theories. These theories are still being researched and developed and have not yet been proven.

What challenges do scientists face in developing Theories of Everything?

Developing theories of everything is a complex and challenging task that requires a deep understanding of mathematics, physics, and other fields. Scientists also face challenges such as limited data, conflicting observations, and the need for new technologies to test their theories.

How do Theories of Everything impact our daily lives?

While Theories of Everything may seem abstract and removed from our daily lives, they have the potential to greatly impact our understanding of the world and lead to new technologies and advancements. They can also inspire curiosity and wonder about the universe we live in.
