Beam problem


the beams are fixed at point X. Load P is applied at Y. How different would be the deflections at P.

I think that we would want to make an equivalent load at the mid point and evaluate how different that would be and then carry that through. (so our load at point Y is at a different point relative to the neutral axis, assuming we are both times pushing down correct??)

The load is acting down in both cases at Y.
Cant really makeout how to calculate eq. forces at the section P.
