Congrats to My High School Friend on Winning Olympic Gold in Gymnastics!

In summary, a former high school classmate has recently won a gold medal in all-around gymnastics at the Olympics, representing the USA. The USA has a total of 1558 athletes competing in the Olympics, according to sources. The athlete in question, along with his twin brother, trained with the Ohio State coaching staff in preparation for the Olympics.

Interesting - you must be from Wisconsic, eh Greg ? Out here too, in Columbus, Ohio, the Hamms have been in the news.

At the end of 2003, the Hamms left Wisconsin and Stacy Maloney - their coach - to train with the Ohio State coaching staff for the 2004 Olympics. They joined two-time Olympian and five-time national champion Blaine Wilson and national vault champion Raj Bhavsar - both former Buckeye gymnasts. All four were on the 2003 silver medal World Championships team.

Go bucks !
