Hey, I back from my New York City vacation. I was staying in Manhattan at the Le Parker Meridien on 57 St. I've got plenty of pictures to show you all, but I have to sort through them first. I also have video footage of Spiderman 3 which is being shot in NY this month.

I'm going back to sleep now, my plane arrived very late at night and I'm still tired from the days I had to stand outside tv studios at 4AM.

Did you tell me you were going to be there?! Huh?! I'll be very upset if I find out our trips to NYC overlapped and I didn't even know you were there. :grumpy: Did you visit the new Apple Store? :tongue2:

When you were in Times Square, the Marquis Mariott there has a great rotating restaurant/lounge called "The View". Did you know of it? It's a bit pricey to eat at, but you buy one drink and you can get a fantastic view in the rotating lounge. My wife and I used to go there all the time to just kick back and enjoy a couple of drinks.

Nice pictures overall. Is that bridge behind the Chrysler building one of those famous ones in NY?
It's the 59th Street bridge.

You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy."

Still cluelss. :uhh: But before you give me another hint to work on, let me say that I'm not from the US, and so, may not be familiar with what you're trying to say.

Neither am I!

It's not so much that you're from the wrong geographical location, more that you're from the wrong era in time.

It's before my time too, but not that much before.

Edit: I should have said "different" instead of "wrong". Sorry.

Anyway, what was that you were trying to tell me in the first place?

"59th Street Bridge Song" is the title of a *very* popular Simon & Garfunkel song that is also sometimes known as "Feelin' Groovy". Since I have never been to to New York, it is what my (warped) mind associates with the term "59th street bridge".

I've never heard of it or of them. Therefore it's not "very popular".

That's probably why he didn't post more of her...he didn't want to have to beat up all the young guys here who'd be falling all over her when they saw her photo. She is very pretty.

1. What was your favorite part of your NYC vacation?

My favorite part of my NYC vacation was exploring Central Park. It's such a beautiful and iconic place with so much to see and do.

2. Did you get to see any celebrities while in NYC?

No, unfortunately I did not see any celebrities during my trip. But I did see some filming for a TV show and that was pretty exciting!

3. Can you share any pictures from your trip?

Yes, I have many pictures from my trip and I would be happy to share them with you. Just let me know which ones you would like to see!

4. How was the Spiderman 3 footage? Any hints about the plot?

The Spiderman 3 footage was amazing! It looks like it's going to be a very action-packed and dramatic film. As for hints about the plot, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but I will say that there are some new villains that Spiderman will have to face.

5. Would you recommend NYC as a vacation destination?

Absolutely! NYC has so much to offer, from famous landmarks to delicious food to exciting entertainment. There is something for everyone in the Big Apple.
