I'm so stoked and I just can't hold it in anymore

In summary, Franz is very excited to be working at LANL this summer and plans on working on models of stellar pulsation.

I have used the term "stoked", as in "stoked to the gills", in reference to friends who were pretty "stoked", almost to the point of going into orbit. :biggrin:

Stoking means fueling a fire or boiler, and the term 'stoked' would mean 'fired up!' :biggrin:

From Merriam-Webster:
Etymology: Dutch stoken; akin to Middle Dutch stuken to push
transitive senses
1 : to poke or stir up (as a fire) : supply with fuel
2 : to feed abundantly
intransitive senses : to stir up or tend a fire (as in a furnace) : supply a furnace with fuel
Blame it on the Dutch! :biggrin:
