BLDC Motor Concept
Would it be worth it to set up a mechanism that could pull back the phase that is turned off in a BLDC motor? If you where to pull back the unused phase in the stator out of the magnetic field of the spinning rotor? Would that lower the amount of resistance on the rotor enough to make it worth the energy of some kind of pneumatic piston moving the unused stator coils out of the magnetic field?
