What is name for this disease? brain works poorly when in public place

In summary, the conversation discusses a person in their early 20s who becomes mentally passive and struggles with tasks when in public places like a university lecture hall. The topic is an easy task when alone, but becomes difficult when surrounded by others. Possible explanations for this condition include Tourette's Syndrome, social anxiety, CAPD, agoraphobia, social phobia, enochiophobia, ochlophobia, and early signs of schizophrenia. However, a thorough evaluation by qualified professionals is recommended. It is also noted that a specific diagnosis cannot be provided without further information and that the person should see a doctor if concerned.

A person in his early 20s becomes mentally very passive, his brains doesn't really work, when he is in a public place such as a university lecture hall. The topic which is an easy task when he is alone becomes a mammoth task when surrounded by others. Could you please help me to identify this condition?

Most all of these suggestions are possible explanations, but when a previously normal young person begins to develop these kinds of symptoms, one should be alert to possible early signs of schizophrenia. I'm not making a diagnosis here. These symptoms are consistent with many less serious conditions. However, a thorough evaluation by qualified professionals is certainly warranted.

You haven't provided any specific symptoms, but even if you had, we cannot provide a diagnosis. Your friend needs to see a doctor if they are concerned.
