Polarity of Induced Magnets through stroking method
How does one see the polarity of the induced magnet from the stroking method (e.g. see here)? Is it the tilt of the magnet as you stroke the metal bar that causes the field that is "looping" on one side to be stronger than the other? But this explanation seems to suggest the direction of the induced magnet going the other way.
