Suggest a book for Inorganic chemistry .

In summary, A good book for Inorganic chemistry which covers all relevant concepts and reactions for JEE-2008 is "Inorganic Chemistry: Principles of Structure and Reactivity (4th Edition)" by James E. Huheey. However, it is important to have a strong understanding of molecular theory and to have studied the subject in depth before relying solely on this book. Short-cuts and quick fixes are only effective if you already have a solid foundation of knowledge.

Is that a good plan? Maybe, better is to have studied Inorganic Chemistry, including any supporting prerequisites; and use a good Inorganic textbook. Much emphasis on molecular theory supports the study of Inorganic Chemistry, not just knowing reactions. Maybe you would be interested in a book written by 'huhey' (I forgot the exact spelling of this last name). I do not know if his book contains, "every reaction and concept" that you need.

Short-cuts are only useful if you already studied the course.
