Has anyone ever used an online casino? Is it legal for people to use an online casino if they are not 21 years old? I would think that there must be legal issues if someone wins a lot of money at an online casino. Anyone know?

I use to work for an online gambling company. Some places it is illegal to do it. Like here in Canada, we are not aloud to even sign up for an account. Well most of them. I think you have to be over 18, but it probably depends on where you live. You shouldn't waste money on those things anyways. Thats my opinion.

I agree, it would seem like a really cheap a unfun way to gamble. I mean sitting on your computer and clicking your mouse? No way, it's got to be in las vegas with a few drinks feeling the cards in my hands while being distracted by all the lights and sounds!

Plus you can't get a feel for your players skill or read their faces in card games. Its just not an authentic way of having fun or gambling.

I always thought the odds are much worse using Online casinos.
And I've never heard a single news of somebody hitting it big in an Online casino.

1. Is it legal for a person under 21 to gamble at online casinos?

It depends on the country or state in which the person resides. In some places, the legal gambling age is 18, while in others it is 21. It is important to check the laws and regulations of the specific location before engaging in any online gambling activities.

2. Are there any consequences for underage gambling at online casinos?

Yes, there can be serious consequences for both the underage gambler and the online casino. The underage gambler may face legal charges and penalties, while the online casino may face fines and even lose their license to operate. It is important to follow the legal gambling age restrictions to avoid these repercussions.

3. Can a person under 21 play free casino games online?

Yes, most online casinos offer free versions of their games that do not require any real money to play. These games are typically available to anyone, regardless of age, as they do not involve any gambling. However, it is important to still check the terms and conditions of the online casino to ensure that they do not have any restrictions on age for their free games.

4. How do online casinos verify the age of their players?

Online casinos use various methods to verify the age of their players, such as asking for identification documents, using age verification software, or requesting a credit card number. It is important for online casinos to have strict age verification processes in place to prevent underage gambling.

5. Can a parent or guardian gamble on behalf of a person under 21 at an online casino?

In most cases, no. Online casinos typically require the player to be of legal gambling age and may ask for identification to verify this. It is important to follow the laws and regulations of the specific location and not try to circumvent age restrictions by having a parent or guardian gamble on behalf of a minor.
