optic lens to collimate/focus light from a LED.

Hello.

I'm looking for a lens that can collimate (or focus far away >500mm ) a light coming out from a LED.

before I give more details is this even possible?

Thanks.

Take a pick, do you want it collimated or focused?

if the focused focal is far away it doesn't matter, I just looking for divergent/convergent angle smaller to 1 degree.

but if you want a pick lets said collimator.

A point source at the focal distance of a lens will produce a parallel beam out. So you want a 10-30mm focal length lens.

You need the thin lens equation.
