I was thinking : Since this forum also includes discussion on biology and computing, why should it be called "Physics Forum"? Shouldn't it be renamed to "Science Forum"?
Those forums are no where near as busy as the physics forums. Nothing is holding them back, they're just not that busy.TSC said:True. But it has the potential to be a forum as big as wikipedia, the way I see it. Once the bio, chem, comp sci, and social sc community jump on board.
The renaming of the History of Physics Forum to Science Forum is to make the forum more inclusive and reflective of all branches of science, not just physics. It also allows for a broader range of topics to be discussed and shared among scientists and enthusiasts.

The renaming will not affect current members and their posts on the History of Physics Forum. All posts and discussions will be transferred to the new Science Forum and members will still have access to their accounts and discussions.
