why is the ohmeter showing 26 ohms here? there is virtually no path for the current to flow from the black lead to the red lead.

It is not clear to me just where your measurement points are. What is the resistance of a bulb?

im measuring the resistance btw the 2 black wires, each bulb has a resistance of 26 ohms, also the fuse has a resistance of 0.3 ohms.

Take a look at this circuit

Maybe it is because it is "DEMO".
