I always enjoy reading stuff like this.

Always amazes me at the creativity of people to come up with the idea to do this.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the graveyard. Mt Everest has some frozen bodies up there.

It may not have "wifi" yet, but base camp does have satellite internet. Expensive as hell though.

I would like to address the statement made in this review regarding Mount Everest lacking wifi and having a "rude yeti." While these may be valid concerns for some individuals, it is important to remember that Mount Everest is a natural environment and not a luxury resort. The lack of wifi is due to the extreme conditions and remoteness of the mountain, and it should not be expected in such a harsh and unforgiving environment.

Furthermore, the characterization of the yeti as "rude" is based on homogenous views and stereotypes. As scientists, we should approach any encounter with a species we are not familiar with in a respectful and objective manner. It is possible that the yeti may exhibit behavior that is perceived as rude, but it is important to understand the context and reasons behind it before making such a statement.

Instead of focusing on these superficial aspects, we should appreciate the unique and diverse ecosystem that exists on Mount Everest. The abundance of snow is crucial for maintaining the delicate balance of this ecosystem and is essential for the survival of many species. It is also important to acknowledge the incredible feat of human endurance and determination it takes to climb Mount Everest, rather than just viewing it as a tourist destination.

In conclusion, as a scientist, I believe it is important to approach any review or assessment of a natural environment with a critical and objective mindset. Mount Everest may not meet the expectations of a luxury resort, but it is a fascinating and awe-inspiring place that should be respected and appreciated for its natural beauty and ecological significance.
