Can someone help me to describe specifically on combustion engine. Especially on Diesel and Turbine (Power Turbine).
A diesel engine works by compressing air and then injecting fuel into the compressed air to ignite it, while a turbine engine uses a continuous combustion process where air and fuel are mixed and ignited continuously.
A diesel engine works by compressing air in the combustion chamber, which increases its temperature. Then, fuel is injected into the compressed air, causing it to ignite and create a controlled explosion. This explosion pushes the piston down, which turns the crankshaft and ultimately powers the vehicle.
Fuel is an essential component of a combustion engine as it provides the energy needed to power the vehicle. In a diesel engine, fuel is injected into the compressed air and ignited, while in a turbine engine, fuel is continuously mixed with air and ignited to produce a continuous flow of energy.
A turbine engine differs from a traditional combustion engine in that it does not have pistons and cylinders. Instead, it uses a rotary motion to convert fuel and air into energy, making it more efficient and compact compared to a traditional engine.
Diesel engines are generally more fuel-efficient than gasoline engines, meaning they can travel farther on the same amount of fuel. They also have a longer lifespan and produce more torque, making them better suited for heavy-duty vehicles and towing. However, they can be more expensive to maintain and are not as environmentally friendly due to higher emissions of pollutants.
