Convective eventually.

If any wants to critique anything though, they can use constant wall temps just to dumb down the problem.

Constant wall temperature? Is that the outer surface of your pipe, or the wall the outer surface (your cone) can see? If so how does that interact with the surface of your pipe?

I'm a bit surprised by the factors with ln, and a linear expansion gives the same for both nodes in y-direction, where they should be different.
