Fiber Optic Connection From BSC To Central Office
In designing a fiber optic connection, I'm wondering if what type of topology should be used if I am only given 3 BSC and a center.
Most designs I saw have BTS and a center (I'm not sure if they call it a central office or hub) and they connect the BTS together in a ring topology. Sometimes, they connect each BTS to the Center then they also connect each BTS to its adjacent BTS. But most of the time, they only connect adjacent BTS to create a ring topology and the Center doesn't matter. Will it be wrong (am I violating any law) if I connect each BSC to the central office and thus only having a Y-like connection? |
