Diode recovery time.
Hello. May be my question has an obvious answer but anyway I ask it. I work with high voltage pulses (> 4 kV) that I want to rectify. In fact I get damped sine voltages with a 2 µs pseudo-period. I encounter problems probably coming for diode recovery time. I'm going to buy HV diodes with a 300 ns recovery time. Is it convenient or must I look for faster diodes ?
