Folks,

I find it very tedious writing using latex symbols on this forum, i.e. I continually have to click ‘preview’ to see that the equations turn out ok before submitting.
Is there some compiler I can use that generates the math independently of this forum then I could copy and paste onto here.

Or perhaps there is a better way...?

Thanks

As a fellow scientist, I completely understand the frustration of writing with latex symbols and constantly having to preview before submitting. Fortunately, there are several solutions that can make the process much easier and more efficient.

One option is to use a latex editor or compiler outside of this forum. This will allow you to write your equations and symbols in a separate program, and then simply copy and paste them onto the forum. This can save a lot of time and eliminate the need for constant previewing.

Another option is to use a latex plugin or extension for your web browser. These tools can provide a more user-friendly interface for writing latex equations on the forum, making the process much smoother and less tedious.

Additionally, there are many online resources and tutorials available that can provide tips and shortcuts for writing latex easily. It may take some time to learn and get used to, but once you become familiar with the language and its syntax, writing with latex can become much faster and more efficient.

I hope these solutions are helpful and make your writing experience on this forum much more enjoyable. Keep exploring and experimenting with different tools and techniques to find what works best for you. Happy writing!
