Voigt function and velocity FWHM
Hi
I have fitted a Voigt function to my data set, and I have obtained the Gaussian and Lorentzian FWHM. The data is the flourescence of an atomic beam as a function of frequency, so both FWHMs are in Hertz. Is there a way to obtain the (transverse) velocity FWHM in [m/s] from the Gaussian FWHM in [Hertz]? Best, Niles. |
