Question on Illinois Universities

In summary, there are several top universities in Illinois for physics and engineering, including Paden RoderUC, UIC, UIUC, and NW. However, according to the NRC Rankings, University of Illinois (UIUC) has a high ranking in physics at number 8. The conversation also mentions a list of top universities in the US, but it is outdated. There may also be more recent rankings for Canadian universities.

Hey Goku,

That list seems very old! It is outdated, as far as New York is concerned. Not 100% sure about other states.
