Optical filter glass material

Hello everyone!

What materials are used for making optical filter glasses?

I bought this:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/49..._950nm_IR.html

and took its transmission spectrum. So, it reminds me a transmission spectrum of CdTe.

But a-CdTe is more fragile.
