cocoamide CDE production

just want some info, in cocoamide CDE production i use Palm kernel oil reacted with DEA diethanolamine using sodium methoxide as a catalyst, for normal production i use only 1.1% but recently to speed up th eproduction i use 1.2% is there any effect for my final product could this make my final product to be gel up am new in this surfactant company hope someone can help and guide me on this thanks a lot
