I have just taught myself how to use Mathmatica.

The symbolic toolbox is outstanding!

I have it running mass optimizations for modular rocket stages... something Matlab is (to my knowledge) unable to do symbolically , and crunching the numbers by hand takes at least 5 minutes per stage.

Now I just need to figure out how to run for and do...while loops as well as filling results into a table and I'll be living large.

This software ROCKS!

Mathematica is my favorite CA package as well. The help files are generally good -- look at them for learning how to do loops and list manipulation and so on. Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions.

Congratulations on teaching yourself how to use Mathematica! It truly is an amazing tool with its unsurpassed symbolic toolbox. It sounds like you have already started utilizing its capabilities to optimize your modular rocket stages, which is impressive. I'm sure with a bit more practice, you will master the use of for and do...while loops and be able to easily fill results into tables. Keep up the great work and continue exploring all the amazing features that Mathematica has to offer. It truly is a powerful software that can greatly enhance your mathematical and computational abilities.
