Hello everyone.
Sorry if the question is silly, but in really need to know something. We know that The Fourier transform of time is frequency and the inverse of frequency is time. In Matlab can anyone tell me how to write it ? Because in the book Non linear fiber optics by Agrawal we found that they used the opposite of what I just said any ideas ??? Thank you

The transforms are inverses; one goes time>frequency, the inverse goes frequency>time.
Note that there are several ways to write the transforms, varying where the 2*pi is placed. So compare the definitions being used when comparing different texts/programs.
