In summary, Joukowski's formula is a mathematical equation used in fluid mechanics to represent the flow of a fluid around a circular cylinder. It can be used in action script to create dynamic animations and simulations of fluid flow around objects, but its implementation depends on the level of programming knowledge and experience. Some of the main challenges include understanding the complex math involved, determining the appropriate parameters and variables, and troubleshooting errors in the code. However, there are many online resources, tutorials, and forums available to assist with using Joukowski's formula in action script.

math with action script (Joukowski's + action script = HOW!??!?)

i have to combine maths with macromedia flash action script 2.0

and the only thing i can think of is Joukowski's aerofoils.
any ideas on how i could do that or what else I could do?

There are many Joukowski JAVA and other types of solvers available on the internet. Go check some of them out and see if that's something you'd be interested in doing.

Hopefully you're familiar with actionscript though.

I can suggest that you start by understanding the principles behind Joukowski's aerofoils. These are mathematical equations that describe the shape of an airfoil, which is the cross-sectional shape of a wing. Once you have a solid understanding of the mathematics involved, you can then incorporate it into your action script to create a visual representation of the aerofoil.

One way to do this could be to use the mathematical equations to generate points on the aerofoil shape and then use action script to connect these points to create a visual representation. You could also add animation to show the effects of air flow over the aerofoil, which is an important aspect of its design.

Another idea could be to use action script to simulate the movement of an aerofoil in a wind tunnel. You could adjust parameters such as angle of attack and air speed to see how it affects the shape and lift of the aerofoil.

Overall, using Joukowski's aerofoils in combination with action script can be a fun and interactive way to explore the principles of aerodynamics and how they apply to real-life situations. It also allows for a better understanding of the mathematical concepts behind the aerofoil shape. I hope this helps in your project!
