Simple Integral but unknown method

In summary, a simple integral refers to a mathematical operation used to find the area under a curve or the total value of a function. An unknown method in simple integrals means that the specific technique or approach used to solve the integral is not specified or known. To solve a simple integral using an unknown method, you would need to identify the type of integral, choose an appropriate method, apply the method to the integral, and then simplify the result. There is no specific order in which you should try different methods for solving a simple integral, and it is best to choose the method that seems most appropriate for the integral at hand. Some tips for finding the right unknown method for a simple integral include identifying any patterns or familiar forms in the integral,

x+1/(x+2)(x+3) = A/x+2 +B/x+3

how do u calculate A and B ?

nevermind i got it thanks.

R.H.S. = {A(x+3) + B(x+2)}/{(x+2)(x+3)}

Therefore (assuming x+1 should be (x+1)): (A+B)=1 and (3A+2B)=1

1. What is a simple integral?

A simple integral refers to a mathematical operation used to find the area under a curve or the total value of a function. It is represented by the symbol ∫ and is commonly used in calculus.

2. What does unknown method mean in simple integrals?

An unknown method in simple integrals means that the specific technique or approach used to solve the integral is not specified or known. This could refer to a variety of methods, such as substitution, partial fractions, or integration by parts.

3. How do I solve a simple integral using an unknown method?

The steps to solve a simple integral using an unknown method may vary depending on the specific integral and method being used. However, in general, you would need to identify the type of integral, choose an appropriate method, apply the method to the integral, and then simplify the result.

4. Is there a specific order in which I should try different unknown methods for simple integrals?

There is no specific order in which you should try different methods for solving a simple integral. It is best to choose the method that seems most appropriate for the integral at hand, and if that does not work, you can try a different method.

5. Are there any tips for finding the right unknown method for a simple integral?

Some tips for finding the right unknown method for a simple integral include identifying any patterns or familiar forms in the integral, looking for opportunities to use algebraic manipulation, and using known properties of integrals to simplify the problem. It may also be helpful to practice and become familiar with different methods through solving various integrals.
