how to connect motion sensor to digital projector

Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me out. I'm an artist and am working on a video installation. I would like to connect a simple motion sensor to a small digital projector (Optoma Pico pk301). The idea is to have this projector play my video every time someone walks by and turn off when there is no activity close to it. I don't know anything about electronics but with instructions I can put this together. Thanks in advance for any help.
