Best math text editor (windows)

In summary, the best math text editor for Windows is a matter of personal preference and popular options include Microsoft Word, LaTeX, and MathType. Most math text editors have the capability to insert mathematical equations and there are several free options available such as LibreOffice Math, TeXworks, and LyX. Some math text editors, like MATLAB, Maple, and Mathematica, are specifically designed for advanced mathematical equations. While some math text editors can create graphs and charts, it is usually better to use dedicated software such as Microsoft Excel or MATLAB for this purpose.

Hi there. I'm looking for a good text editor, that also is a good math notation editor. I currently use openoffice as text editor, and I have openoffice.Math but couldn't integrate it with the Writer. Is there a better alternative, remembering I need text and math editor together?

Thanks
