Set theory proves that god does NOT exists Or DOES exist

In summary, the conversation is about whether set theory can prove the existence of God. The original poster has not received a response on their previous post and is seeking answers from others. They also mention that they do not have much knowledge of set theory. Another user states that set theory can prove the non-existence of God in certain ways, but not completely. However, another user argues that it is impossible to prove the non-existence of God without having absolute knowledge and understanding of the universe. The conversation ends with a request to continue the discussion in a different thread.

As I have not received an answer for the post I submitted under the thread "Does the set theory prove that there is no God?" I decided to submit it here.
Without having much knowledge of set theory, How exactly does the Set theory prove that there is no god?
Thank you in advance for your kind replies.

If, and only if, you admit mathematical demostrations that there is no god, then yes, it proves that there is no god, in several ways, but of course, not completely, and doubtfull.

How exactly would you go about proving that God does not exist when God is said to be immeasurable. Only from the standpoint of absolute knowledge and understanding of everything in the universe and their relationships to one another would it be possible to "filter out" each part of the equation to be left with nothing. It seems that to disprove God you have to be God yourself.

What is set theory?

Set theory is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of sets, or collections of objects. It provides a formal language and framework for understanding the relationships between different sets and their elements.

How does set theory relate to the existence of God?

The application of set theory to the existence of God is a philosophical and theoretical exercise. It involves using the principles and logic of set theory to examine the concept of God and whether it can be proven or disproven.

Can set theory definitively prove or disprove the existence of God?

No, set theory cannot definitively prove or disprove the existence of God. It is a mathematical tool and is limited to examining abstract concepts and ideas. The existence of God is a complex and subjective belief that cannot be fully analyzed through set theory alone.

What are some arguments for using set theory to prove or disprove the existence of God?

One argument is that the concept of God is often described as an all-encompassing, all-knowing entity, which can be represented as a set of all sets. Using set theory, one could argue that such a set cannot logically exist, therefore disproving the existence of God. On the other hand, some may argue that the existence of a set representing all possible sets could support the existence of a divine being.

What are some limitations of using set theory to examine the existence of God?

Set theory is a mathematical tool and as such, it has its own set of assumptions, limitations, and biases. It is not designed to analyze complex and deeply personal beliefs such as the existence of God. Additionally, the concept of God is often beyond the scope of mathematical reasoning and cannot be fully understood or proven through set theory alone.
