I would like to simulate a HID lamp. This lamp is operated at a pressure of 2.8 atm and has a core temperature of about 5500K. It is filled with Ar and Hg.
Is it possible to use the DC discharge module in Comsol to simulate the plasma?
For some chemical reactions Townsend coefficients are imported. Are these coefficients required for a simulation of a plasma? And where do I get that data from?
