can a machine like big bang machine be used for controlled nuclear fusion economically for prodution of electricity?

"big bang machine"? Large hadron collider?
No (otherwise it would be used).

Particle accelerators can be used for fusion, but the possible energy release in those reactions is tiny compared to the required power to operate the accelerator.
