Enhancement mode
Just want to double confirm,
Fr enhancement mode mosfet, p-substrate, if the gate is supplied with negative voltage, then will not be current flow through because there is no n-channel there. My question is , why when the gate is supplied with negative voltage , can hole layer orp channel formed? And even it formed, it still can't conduct electricity because there will recombination of electrons from source and hole from that layer? One more: inversion layer in p-substrate means that a layer of electron formed near the gate ( supplied with positive voltage)? Thank you |
