i can't help you with the question, but try hotmath.com, they may have your book there, and they go through most every question with a full explanation of each step

edit: ah, after just checking the site, they've changed it so that you have to sign-up. however, if you have some good internet friends, like at warez sites or something, you may be able to get a password
