    Car Water
In summary, the company claims that you can power your car with water and that this will reduce your fuel costs. It is claimed that the device is American made and that it is a safe system. However, the device is said to be against the second law of thermodynamics.

Has anyone bought this or know someone who has?

The claim is that you can get Brown's Gas from water and use it to power your car.

Here's the website...

It says...
Create your own water hybrid for under $150!

Did you know that you can convert your car to a water-burning car? You can run your car on water, supplemental to gasoline, to increase your car's fuel efficiency and reduce your fuel costs significantly.

Thank you!?

Generating H2 + O2 from water = easy
Running a car on it = not too hard
Getting more energy out of the H2+O2 than you put into split it = impossible

Apparently their using the battery to split it. So, you're saying why not just run your car on your battery?

The point is that you cannot get more energy out of Hydrogen and Oxygen made through electrolysis than you originally put in. Therefore, trying to run your car off of Hydrogen you create using energy from the engine is the same trying to make a perpetual motion machine. Like plugging a generator into a motor, that powers the generator. Efficiencies kill you and the machine doesn't work.

If you search for this subject, you will see that this topic has been covered many times already.

Hydro 4000 auto efficiency claim?

The Green Machine Solutions, Inc. claims improved automobile efficiency and gas mileage by adding Hydrogen and Oxygen to the fuel system using electrolysis of water as the source of Hydrogen. See http://www.hydro4000.com/

They claim:

* 20%- 60% reduction in fuel consumption!
* Reduces Carbon Emissions!
* Improves power and performance of your vehicle!
* Zero pollutants!
* Distilled water fill-up is all that's needed to produce hydrogen!
* No Hydrogen stored under pressure, makes for safe systems!
* Increases the life of your engine!
* Cutting edge technology!
* Very affordable!
* Patent Pending!
* American Made!
* Distributors Wanted!

To me this sounds like a perpetual motion machine and against the 2nd law of thermodynamics! How can electricity produced by taking torque from the drive shaft produce enough hydrogen to offset the energy cost of production in an ICE?

Has this topic been discussed before?

It's been dicussed a few times here. Of course, it's bunk.

Doing a search for "HHO" or "hydrogen electrolysis" can give you other threads on this subject that have been beaten to death.

Setting aside for now the question of whether this device does anything at all, they make a huge mistake in their logic: they assume that a load added to the alternator of a car adds no load to the engine. That's wrong.

Yep, this is probably one of the most common misconceptions I have heard.

Defenders of these "HHO machines" think that an alternator spins freely (e.g. with no torque required) while producing electrical current. This is of course impossible, but explaining it to them can be, shall we say, frustrating.

What is the concept behind "Run Your Car on Water"?

The concept behind "Run Your Car on Water" is to use a hybrid system that combines water and gasoline to power a car. The system uses electrolysis to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen, which is then injected into the engine's combustion chambers, resulting in a more efficient burn of gasoline.

Can any car be converted to run on water?

No, not all cars can be converted to run on water. This system is only compatible with gasoline-powered vehicles that have a traditional internal combustion engine. Electric or hybrid cars do not require this type of conversion.

How much does it cost to create a hybrid for $150?

The cost to create a hybrid using this system can vary depending on the specific materials and components used. While the $150 price point may be possible for some, it is more realistic to expect to spend anywhere from $500 to $1000 for parts and installation.

Is "Run Your Car on Water" safe for my car?

Yes, the "Run Your Car on Water" system is generally considered safe for your car. However, as with any modifications to a vehicle, there is always a risk of potential damage or malfunction. It is important to consult a professional mechanic before attempting to install this system.

What are the potential benefits of using a water hybrid system?

The potential benefits of using a water hybrid system include improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and cost savings on gasoline. However, the effectiveness of the system may vary and results may not be guaranteed.
