Explosion from mix or vibration

In summary, the conversation discusses the existence of substances that react and explode when mixed with nitrogen or subjected to high vibration or shock. The speaker also mentions a specific example from a video game involving a combination of two substances that results in an explosive liquid. However, the other speaker questions the seriousness of the topic and suggests that this platform is not the appropriate place for discussing fictional examples of physics, math, or chemistry. The topic is then locked.

BTW, exist some substance that when is mixed with nitrogen, or with some compost of nitrogen, reacts and explodes? Also, exist some compost of nitrogen that when is submitted to high vibration or shock reacts and explodes?

Sorry, the translation of that did not work very well. Why are you asking the question?

Plenty of compounds that will explode on friction or when hit. Some of the contain nitrogen. Google for impact sensitive primer.

Because I remenber from N64's Castlevania that there was a phase where was necessary you combine 2 differents substances, nitro-something and mandragora, and you couldn't even jump because the liquid explods and you die...

Are you serious, or just trolling?

PF is a serious place, we don't discuss here physics/math/chemistry as pictured in computer games/movies/popular media.

1. What causes explosions from mix or vibration?

Explosions from mix or vibration are caused by the rapid release of energy in a confined space. This can happen when a combustible material is mixed with an oxidizer and ignited, or when a sudden shock or vibration causes a reaction in unstable materials.

2. Is there a way to prevent explosions from mix or vibration?

Yes, there are several ways to prevent explosions from mix or vibration. These include proper handling and storage of combustible materials, avoiding mixing incompatible materials, and ensuring equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operated.

3. What types of materials are most likely to cause explosions from mix or vibration?

Materials that are highly combustible or unstable, such as flammable gases, liquids, or solids, are most likely to cause explosions from mix or vibration. These materials may include fuels, chemicals, or certain types of industrial or household products.

4. How can explosions from mix or vibration be dangerous?

Explosions from mix or vibration can be dangerous due to the release of high levels of heat, pressure, and potentially toxic gases. This can result in injuries, structural damage, and fires. In some cases, explosions may also lead to secondary hazards, such as the release of hazardous chemicals.

5. What should I do if an explosion from mix or vibration occurs?

If an explosion from mix or vibration occurs, it is important to evacuate the area immediately and contact emergency services. Do not attempt to handle any materials involved in the explosion or use any equipment until it has been deemed safe by professionals. Follow any safety protocols and procedures in place at your facility and seek medical attention if needed.
