Tapered, arched beam stiff mass matrices ?

Hi all,

Actually I'm supposed to run and find results in google search. But that doesn't give any useful information, retrieves some nomenclatures which deals with estimation of technique or deriving the stiffnesss mass matrices for 2D frame element. But I'm looking for 3D frame element with 6DOF per node.

The title may seem a bit confusing, I'm looking the stiff and mass matrices for tapered beam, arched-tapered beam and arched beams.

Does anybody can give any entry-point on that ?

Try "curved" not "arched". Googling for "tapered curved beam element formulation" came ujp with this, and plenty more...
