In summary, making PF/PhysOrg accounts universal refers to combining the login systems of Physics Forums (PF) and Physics.org (PhysOrg) to allow users to access both websites with one account. This would simplify the login process, improve data tracking, and create a more seamless experience for users. However, there may be challenges with merging the systems and potential concerns about data privacy. The timeline for this process could vary, and potential benefits include easier access, improved data analysis, increased engagement, and potentially attracting new users.

I just thought of this pretty good idea. If PF and PhysOrg are owned by the same company, they could certainly do this: make our PF accounts work on PhysOrg and vice versa.

EDIT: It looks like they're not owned by the same company, however it is still possible to do that.

PF is privately owned by Greg isn't it?

It would be difficult to do, especially if you have people with clashing usernames.

I'm also not sure what purpose this would serve?
