if you know the answers, i suppose you don't go to a pharmacy, buy the happy hormone and inject it into your arm ? if it is, it is so sad .

Actually, he's referring to endorphins/dopamine... but I don't believe either of them are classified as hormones... endorphins are just chemicals and dopamine is a neurotransmitter... these are primarily involved in regulation of 'happiness'.
Sadness as it relates to chemicals in the brain seems to be more related to the neurotransmitter serotonin.

And yes, you can go to the pharmacy and buy stuff that makes you happy (from in generally a good mood up through the most intense pleasure you'll ever feel); but you need a prescription ;P

1. What is the hormone that affects human happiness and sadness?

The hormone that affects human happiness and sadness is called serotonin. It is a neurotransmitter that is responsible for regulating mood, sleep, appetite, and other bodily functions.

2. How does serotonin affect human emotions?

Serotonin plays a crucial role in regulating emotions and mood. Low levels of serotonin have been linked to depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. On the other hand, higher levels of serotonin can promote feelings of happiness, contentment, and well-being.

3. What factors can affect serotonin levels?

Several factors can impact serotonin levels, including genetics, diet, exercise, and exposure to sunlight. Stress and certain medications can also affect serotonin levels in the body.

4. How can someone increase their serotonin levels?

There are several ways to increase serotonin levels naturally, such as exercising regularly, getting enough sunlight, eating a healthy diet rich in tryptophan and omega-3 fatty acids, and practicing relaxation techniques such as meditation and deep breathing.

5. Can low serotonin levels be treated?

Yes, low serotonin levels can be treated through a combination of lifestyle changes, therapy, and medication. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.
